In 1989, at the age of 15, Sascha Tayefeh and Andreas Rudel, both from Koblenz (Germany), formed a Darkwave/Gothic band called Ghosting. The band has seen a break in between 1996-1999, and ultimately dissolved in 2003 during the recording of their next album after Disguised in Black. Since 2020, Sascha occasionally releases some more old and new songs. He now has a PhD in natural science, and works as an IT service manager.

“BLACK ROMANTIC” is the band’s third demo tape, a mixture of what today would be called Dark Ambient with classical-medieval elements, all created by samplers and synthesizers.

These are original recordings from the tapes published between 1990 and 1993. There were in fact three different versions of the demo tape, all with a slightly different set of songs. They’re all featured here.
